To add an extra layer of security to your BLOX account, we use Device Authorization. This means we occasionally need to verify that you are indeed the person attempting to log in from a new or unrecognized device. Here is how it works depending on your account status:
New Accounts: If you have just created a new account, you don't need to authorize your device immediately. The verification protocol becomes active the moment you log out and attempt to sign back in.
Existing Accounts: Already have an active BLOX account? Device Authorization is triggered whenever you log out and log back into our platform.
How it works in practice? When you log in and verification is required, we automatically dispatch a 6-digit verification code (OTP) to your registered email address.
- Remember for 30 Days: Once you successfully enter the code, we whitelist this device for 30 days. If you log in again within this window, you won’t need to input a new code.
- After 30 Days: If you log in after 30 days, your device token expires for security reasons, and we will send a new verification code to your email.
Pro-Tip: If you haven't received the verification email after signing in, please check your spam or junk folder.
