Custody: With a Custody account, your crypto assets and euros at BLOX are securely stored and managed by Stichting BLOX Custody. This is an independent foundation created to hold your crypto assets and euros separately from BLOX’s own funds. Your crypto and euros are therefore not part of BLOX’s assets. With a Custody account, you can’t use the Earn program.
Earn: The Earn account allows you to earn a return on your crypto assets. When you use an Earn account, you make your crypto available to BLOX Earn for the Earn program. You can earn between 0,5% and 12.5% annual returns on the crypto you provide. The activities of BLOX Earn currently fall outside the supervision of the AFM. With an Earn account, your crypto is not stored and managed by Stichting BLOX Custody. Your euros, however, are stored and managed there.
