You need to complete a wallet verification if you send crypto to your BLOX account from a personal external wallet (such as a Ledger or MetaMask), and the amount is €1,000 or higher.
This is required because the European Travel Rule obliges us to check where your crypto is coming from and to confirm that the wallet used for the deposit actually belongs to you.
Verification is not required if you've already successfully verified the same wallet in the past, or if the deposit amount is below €1,000.
For deposits from an exchange (such as Kraken or Coinbase), wallet verification is usually not necessary. In those cases, we automatically receive the required information through our Travel Rule integration with that provider.
