What is the Bitcoin Halving?
The Bitcoin Halving is an event where the supply of new Bitcoins entering the market is reduced by half, approximately every 4 years. Currently, around 6.25 Bitcoins are added to the market every 10 minutes, but after the halving, this will drop to 3.125 Bitcoins.
This means the total number of Bitcoins in circulation will grow more slowly, making new Bitcoins increasingly scarce.
Will the Bitcoins in your Vault be halved too?
No, don't worry! As mentioned above, only the supply of new Bitcoins is reduced. This does not affect the amount of Bitcoin you already own. :)
